How We Can Help
Cancer treatment expenses add undue stress to an already stressful time. The Avery Foundation was developed to relieve some of this financial distress and allow you to focus your energy on the battle at hand.
We provide financial assistance to any eligible tri-state area resident dealing with the costs associated with cancer treatment or with other individualized needs due to cancer care.

What we help with:
GAS
Mileage reimbursement for traveling from home to treatment centers is available at $0.45 per mile based on Mapquest.
LODGING
Lodging reimbursement, including extended hotel stays, is available for up to $125 per night, with a receipt
required.
MEALS
Meal reimbursement is up to $10.00 per person for breakfast, $12.50 per person for lunch, and $20.00 per person for dinner, with receipts required.
AND MORE
Other assistance may be available for costs of comfort, medications, or medical equipment and supplies not covered by insurance.

Applicants must live in the counties of: Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, and Jackson in Iowa; Grant and Lafayette in Wisconsin; Jo Daviess in Illinois. All completed applications will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and a decision provided to the applicant within 30 days of receipt. Information will remain confidential. Payment is not guaranteed.
